Registry The Immunization Registry is a confidential, computerized information system that manages information pertaining to immunizationsfor children living in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. The Immunization Registry provides better access to information for immunization records that may have been lost; helps prevent duplicate vaccinations; and through its reminder/recall system ensure more timely immunizations. |
Medical
providers providing immunizations to children 18 years of age and younge are eligible to access the entire immunization registry. Other agencies, including but not limited to, schools, family child care homes, foster care agencies, WIC service providers, and county welfare departments (CalWORKS), are eligible to access a limited version of the registry. Parents who would like to have their child's shot records entered into the Immunization Registry can contact the Immunization Registry at (951) 354-1400 for more information. There are no fees to participate but a computer with Internet access isrequired. |

Public Health Nurses collaborate with Social Workers in both the in-home Supportive Services and Adult Protective Service Programs with the goal of meeting the needs of the elderly and dependent adult populations. | Childhood Asthma Program: Provides services for children diagnosed with asthma and their parents. Services include asthma education, in-home environmental assessment for trigger remediation, and demonstration of proper use of asthma aids, such as peak flow meters and aerochambers (spacers).
