ROLE OF MEN PROGRAM

Today, our nation faces a crisis of absent fathers.

Four out of ten children in our country will go to be tonight in a home without their biological father.

Children who live absent from their biological fathers on average, are more likely to experience educational, health, emotional, psychological problems, be victims of child abuse, and engage in criminal behavior, more than children who live with both their biological father and mother.

The Role of Men is a program established just for fathers. The program is designed for men to develop effective parenting skills in order to obtain a good healthy and emotional relationship between parent and child.

The Role of Men is a place where men can come together and talk about parenting issues. The Program consists of four components: effective parenting skills, legal rights and responsibilities, job-vocation preparation, and educational assessment.
