Pregnancy Risk Information Line

The Pregnancy Risk Information Line is a statewide telephone service operated by the California Teratogen Information Service (CTIS) and Clinical Research Program. This service provides FREE information over the phone about non-prescription and prescription medicines, recreational drugs, infectious diseases, chemicals, and physical agents which may be harmful to an unborn baby. This service is offered to the general public, including pregnant women, fathers, physicians, and other health care providers. The information and counseling is provided in a non-directive, and non-judgmental manner.

List of Southern California Addiction Services

This site lists over 4,000 Southern California addiction services for those needing assistance with drug, alcohol, or other dependency. You will find hundreds of inpatient and outpatient treatment services: alcoholism, drug addiction or substance abuse, drug diversion programs, 12-step programs, intervention, detox, drug testing, family counseling, halfway houses, sober homes, anger management, domestic violence, support groups, education and awareness, parenting classes, Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, help lines, residential care, and more. Many of the addiction services are provided by low or no-cost non-profit organizations.
