WIC  Nutrition/WIC (Women, Infants, & Children)
WIC is an assistance program for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who have recently had a baby and for children under five years of age.

 Adolescent Family Services
The County of Riverside, Department of Public Health, Adolescent Family Services (AFS) offers case management services to pregnant and parenting teens, their children, and siblings throughout Riverside County.

Services from cancer screenings, child health services, family planning and exams, HIV/AIDS and STD testing, immunizations, nutrition, primary care, prescriptions and refills, referrals to specialists, urgent care, and more.

Services for pregnant mothers to helps assist with drug and alcohol abuse, so babies are born free from exposure to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

Services provide for disabled children, lead poisoning prevention, child health and disability prevention, and dental disease prevention.

 Family Planning
Offers services of family planning, birth control, contraception, and pregnancy prevention.

picture Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program
A Medicaid-funded perinatal health care program which coordinates nutrition, psychosocial and health education services with clinical obstetrical care to improve maternal and infant outcomes.

The Mission of Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health

To improve the health status of all women, infants, children and adolescents, by assuring access to quality services, particularly those services that reduce the incidence of low birth weight and premature delivery, reduce maternal and infant mortality, and reduce the incidence of preventable diseases and disabling conditions among children.
