Role of Men

services

Adolescent Family Services (AFS)
offers supportive case management services to pregnant and parenting teens and their children throughout Riverside County.

Services are provided by two key programs. The programs are:

Teens are assigned Case Managers who understand the issues confronting pregnant and parenting teens, teen fathers, their families and communities. Together, they will address any concerns and link the teen to needed services while providing support during the pregnancy or early parenting process. Case managers ensure that teens receive comprehensive medical assessments, psychological assessments and individual health education. Referrals, counseling, case monitoring and evaluation, advocacy and outreach are also provided as needed. Broad based support is provided through partnerships with community-based resources and a network of public agency providers.

There are no client fees and services are confidential.
