THE MISSION of the Health Promotion and Professional Development Branch is to bridge the gap between knowledge and behavior change so that all county employees and county residents achieve optimum health as measured by the principle of public health and individual health goals. The mission involves a comprehensive program with activities in the following areas: Health Information and Education; Community Collaboration; and Public Policy Change.
